Definition: The tylosis esophageal cancer (TOC) syndrome is an autosomal-dominant syndrome characterized by palmoplantar keratoderma, oral precursor lesions, and a high lifetime risk of esophageal cancer.
RHBDF2 mutations are associated with tylosis, a familial esophageal cancer syndrome.
