ovarian papillary serous carcinoma / ovarian serous carcinoma
- Ovarian papillary serous carcinoma has fibrovascular papillae that are typically not hyalinized.
- There is cellular tufting and budding.
- Mitoses are more common than clear cell adenocarcinoma, and there is not hobnailing.
- It is high grade (pleomorphic with nucleoli), or low grade (uniform cells +/- nucleoli).
- IHC is positive for p16, ER, WT-1, IMP3, and p53.
