Etiology
alcoholic hepatitis

large bile-duct obstruction
any condition with extensive ductular reaction
ascending cholangitis
any acute hepatitis
- drug-related liver injury (drug-related hepatitis)
According to the topography of the neutrophilic infiltration
localized neutrophilic infitration
- steatohepatitis
- alcohol-related steatohepatitis
lobular microabcesses
- CMV hepatitis (cytomegalovirus hepatic infection)
- perfusion infury in liver allograft
- surgery
