CNNs

Calponins (CNNs) binds calmodulin, actin, and tropomyosin.

Calponins (CNNs) are able to inhibit the ATPase activity of myosin and is thought to play a role in cells contraction, in particular smooth muscle contraction.

Calponins (CNNs) may also be involved in the structural organization and/or anchorage of actin filaments and may function in the cell adhesion mechanism.
