SMARCA5
Pathology
A novel t(4;22)(q31;q12) produces an EWSR1-SMARCA5 fusion in extraskeletal Ewing sarcoma/primitive neuroectodermal tumor. (#21113140#)
SMARCA5 could have a potential role in proliferation and malignancy in gastric carcinogenesis.
- Higher immunoreactivity of SMARCA5 has been observed in gastric cancer samples than in normal mucosa.
- SMARCA5 promoter methylation is associated with the absence of protein expression.
