marked female predominance
associated with cirrhosis
Clear Cell
cytoplasmic clearing due to the accumulation of glycogen and/or fat
Differential diagnosis
close appearance with renal or adrenal cortical carcinoma.
Differential diagnosis is facilitated by the performance of special techniques such as immunostaining for Hep-Par-1 and polyclonal CEA209 and FISH for albumin mRNA210.
