parasitic metazoa

Tuesday 17 March 2009

The parasitic metazoa are contracted by eating the parasite, often in undercooked meat, and by direct invasion of the host through the skin and through insect bites. They dwell in many sites of the body, including the intestine, skin, lung, liver, muscle, blood vessels, and lymphatics.
