KIF14
MIM.611279 1q32.1
KIF14 is a member of the kinesin superfamily of microtubule-associated motors (KIFs) that play important roles in intracellular transport and cell division.
Pathology
located in 1q32.1 amplification (62%) (positively associated with 6p gain and maybe MYCN gain) (#17099872#)
KIF14 (kinesin family member 14) is an overexpressed candidate oncogene in the 1q31.3-1q32.1 minimal region of genomic gain in breast cancer cell lines.
KIF14 overexpression is a negative predictor of grade and outcome in breast cancer. (#16570270#)
