  Columnar cell variant of PTC
  Tall cell and columnar cell variants are at least twice as tall as wide. Tall cell variant has basally located nuclei and frequently has eosinophilic cytoplasm. Columnar cell variant has pseudostratified nuclei. The prognosis for both is worse than conventional papillary cell carcinoma.
  Columnar cell variant has pseudostratified nuclei.
