Cowdry type B inclusion bodies, Cowdry type B nuclear inclusions
Definition: Intranuclear eosinophilic amorphous or droplet-like bodies surrounded by a clear halo, without other nuclear changes during early stages of development of the inclusion. They are seen in neural cells.
Etiology
poliovirus ( poliomyelitis )
