Synopsis

 first branchial cleft anomaly
 opening in the infra-auricular region
 tortuous tract extending anteroinferiorly and medially from the external inframeatal opening to the lateral nasopharyngeal wall (anterior to the fossa of Rosenmuller)
 tract connected to the deep lobe of the parotid gland
